Description

1973 MGB GT IN PALE PRIMROSE. HERITAGE SHELL CAR. FANTASTIC CHROME BUMPER MGB GT IN A GREAT COLOUR. TAX EXEMPT CAR

This great MGB GT was built in December 1972 an registered in 1973. It is finished in the sought after Pale Primrose colour with a very dark blue interior. 26 old MOT’s in the history file show that the car has done 118,000 miles in total but less than 6,000 in the last 10 years. The last owner purchased the car in 1988 and has owned and cared for it for 28 years. The car was taken of the road in 1991 and was treated over the next 2 years to a full and comprehensive rebuild using a new Heritage body shell (invoice on file). The engine was rebuilt and a new gearbox with overdrive fitted at the same time. Over £9,000 of invoices show the car had just about everything done including new chrome, springs, suspension, steering, axle rebuild, petrol tank, wiring loom, stainless exhaust, waxoiled, windscreen, slav & master cylinders, shock absorbers, alternator, leather seats, carpets, seat belts, 12v battery conversion, brake shoes and recently a new clutch. We have since recently acquiring the car treated it to a full service and new radiator, headlining, sun visors, chrome air grill, ashtray, gear gaiter, alloy rocker cover and a few minor details to make the car look just right again. A set of gold coloured minilite style alloy wheels with fresh tyres where fitted to complete the look. The car looks great, drives great and is great. Long MOT with no advisories.
